Season Opening and Closing Camps on the Danube Island

We start and end the beach camp season at our location on the Sportinsel in Vienna.

5 trainings, King|Queen of the Court tournament and a cozy get-together at one of the best leisure oases in Vienna awaits you. All performance groups are welcome, the groups will be divided according to ability. We are also planning a separate training group for beginners at this camps.

This is what your camp day looks like:

Friday
1 training session from 17.00-19.00 hrs
Our coaches will train with you with a warm up, lots of basic technique
exercises and a cool down
Saturday
2 training sessions from 10.00-12.00 and 14.00-16.00
The focus on this day is on training game situations
From 16.30: King/Queen of the Court tournament (duration approx. 1 hour)
Sunday
2 training sessions from 10.00-12.00 and 14.00-16.00
On this day there is room for all the content on your wish list - whether
it's repeating basic techniques or practicing specific game situations
A cozy finale in the beach bar on site
What you can expect

This camp takes place with a minimum of 6 participants.
There are no refunds for missed training sessions.

The location

Sportinsel on the Danube Island in Vienna

Top beach volleyball courts await you on the Sportinsel. With the new floodlights installed in 2023, you can now play there until sunset. Showers and toilets are available on site. Cool off with a dip in the New Danube. You can round off the evening in the beach bar.

How to get there

Take the subway U6 or bus 20A to Neue Donau station, from there it's about 400 meters on foot. Or from the Handeslkai underground and S-Bahn station in approx. 10 minutes on foot.

Perfect to reach by bike, bike racks are available.
